The Reference Librarians will be available remotely to help patrons with their questions, to assist them in their research, and to provide instruction on library resources and research techniques.
Reference help is available from Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
Connect quickly for synchronous help via Microsoft Teams. All JCU users have access to Teams and you can find instructions on how to access it on the tutorial prepared by the IT staff.
To initiate a chat with a Reference Librarian type the name of the librarian you would like to get in touch with, or you can include them all in the chat:
If you don't receive a prompt answer, you will be contacted by the librarians as soon as they are available.
Reference help is suspended, but if you see that one of the Reference Librarians is available on Microsoft Teams, you can use the call feature to talk to us.
Send us your requests by email at any time. You will receive a response as soon as we get your message.
In-depth research consultations can be scheduled with one of the Reference Librarians. Appointments will be available remotely only via Microsoft Teams.

As soon as you request an appointment, the Reference Librarians will schedule a Microsoft Teams meeting and they will call you at the time of the appointment.
All appointments are set to Rome time zone.
