Before Requesting an Item

Before requesting an item from another library, please be reminded of the following:

  • Patrons can have only 5 Interlibrary Loan (ILL) Requests active at a time.
  • Waiting times and loan regulations depend on the lending library and are not predictable.
  • ILL services are free for Faculty, Graduate Students and Thesis Students; other patrons are required to refund costs, if required from the lending library.
  • Please note that usually eBooks and Media (DVDs, CDs, etc.) cannot be borrowed.

For further details, please check the Interlibrary Loan Policy

  • The status of your request will be available on your library account.
  • You will the receive an e-mail notification as soon as the item is ready to be picked up.
  • The documents will be on hold for one week; patrons who do not pick up requested items within this time will not be allowed to send other requests.
