How Can You Find book Reviews?

If you need to locate book reviews, you can apply several search strategies depending on the tool that you would like to use.

Book Reviews on JCU Discovery

To find a bok review using JCU Discovery, you simply have to enter the title of the book you are interested in and hit search.

Then you can filter by article, and click on View Full Text to be redirected to the full text of the article.

Book Reviews on Academic Search Premier

In Academic Search Premier, as well as all the EBSCO databases, you can search for book reviews by entering the book title as keyword, and then selecting Book Review in the Document Type limit.

You can also select PS Reviews and Products in the drop down menu.

Book Reviews on JSTOR

If you want to find a book review in JSTOR, go to the Advanced Search and enter the title of the book for which you want to find the review.

Then select Reviews in the Item Type limit.

The result list will include all review articles where you can see the title of the book(s) reviewed.

Book Reviews on LexisNexis

LexisNexis can help you locate book reviews published in major world newspapers. You can search for the title of the book you are interested in followed by the keyword "review," or you can select the option Book reviews in the All News search.
