Moodle Quickstart Guide for Students

Creating a Moodle Account

Anyone at JCU can log into Moodle. To log in, you first have to create your own account. 

You have to create your own username and password (they do not have to be the same as your regular JCU credentials). 

moodle login

  • Fill in the required fields in the New account form. 

You will then receive a confirmation email. If you do not receive this email (check the spam first!), send a message to moodlesupport@johncabot.edu to activate the account.

 

IMPORTANT - The email address used to create a moodle account should have a .edu domain. For all JCU faculty and degree seeking students, the JCU email address is the one to be used. Study abroad students must use their home universities email addresses. Should a .edu email address not be available, please contact moodlesupport@johncabot.edu
