Library Account (for external users)

Create your library account (for alumni, library guests, and external users)

JCU alumni, library guests, and all the patrons who are not currently enrolled students, faculty, or staff, must follow the instructions below to create or access their library accounts:


1. Go to the JCU Discovery and click Sign in in the upper right corner:


2. On the new page, selecte EXTERNAL USER LOGIN


3. You will be asked for your credentials. The ID number is printed on your JCU ID card, while the password is the one you set. For faculty, stuff, and currently enrolled students, it is also available through MyJCU,


4. If it is the first time you log in, or you have forgotten your password, please click Set/reset password:

 


5. Insert your ID Number and click Request new password:


6. You will see a confirmation page:

 


7. You will receive an email with the link to change your password:

 


8. Open the link and insert your ID Number and the new password:

 


9. If the password matches the requirements, you will see the confirmation page, and you will be good to go:


You can now access your library account.
