ACRL has recently published The Scholarly Communications Cookbook, edited by Brianna Buljung and Emily Bongiovanni. The book is the latest offering in ACRL's Cookbook series and it is meant to help libraries establish programs, teach concepts, conduct outreach, and use scholarly communications technologies in your library.
The Scholarly Communications Cookbook features 84 practical, how-to "recipes" and it is divided into four thorough sections:
• Taking Your Program to the Next Level
• Open Educational Resources
• Publishing Models and Open Access
• Tools, Trends, and Best Practices for Modern Researchers
The last section features a recipe prepared by JCU Head Librarian Livia Piotto, who describes how advanced researchers can use the citation manager Zotero. The recipe is called "Zotero Smoothie: Blending Citations into Annotated Bibliographies and Literature Review" and can be found in Livia's JCU Authors profile page.
