The Library welcomes you in this new semester with a few innovations.
The Library online resources are now accessible from Google Scholar.
When you are doing research at JCU, you will be automatically redirected to the full-text available in our collections. If you are working from home, you can use Google Scholar's Library Links feature to identify yourself as a JCU member, and take advantage of our resources.
Electronic Theses now available on the Library website.
From Spring 2017 the Registrar's office requires students depositing their thesis in digital format. As such, theses are available only for administrative purposes. The Electronic Theses collection in the Library website includes all the works that students accepted to publish open access, making them readable and downloadable by anyone and anywhere in the world.
The collection is complemented by a guide on how to publish open access.
The New York Times digital edition: renewing or creating your personal account
All JCU members can access the NYT digital edition via the NTY pass, which must be activated or renewed at beginning of the new year.
To do so:
Access the NYT site when you are connected to the JCU network (this is how the NYT site identifies our university as valid user).
Go to AccessNYT.com and type in John Cabot University in the search box. You will be redirected to the registration page.
Fill in the form as necessary. Any e-mail account (not only those from JCU) will work.
