Banned Books Week is a worldwide annual event held during the last week of September. It is meant to raise awareness on the importance of free and open access information.
Books can often be challenged, or even banned, for the ideas they convey, ideas that can be unpopular or against the mainstream.
The Frohring Library supports the Banned Books campaign by giving access to books that have been included in the lists of banned or challenged books throughout the years.
Can you find a challenged book in our collection?

Do you need help for a research paper? Is there not enough time to go to the library and ask a librarian for help?
Connect quickly with one of the librarians via our chat Ask a Librarian. A librarian is available during regular Reference Desk hours:
Monday through Thursday from 8:30 AM to 8:00 PM
Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM
Click on the chat icon on the lower right corner in every library page to get connected with us.
You can also leave a message and your email address if you are in a hurry and you don't receive a prompt reply. Librarians might be busy with other patrons, but they will get back to you via email as soon as possible.

The electricity at the Tiber Campus is out at this time (8:00am). It is being fixed, but, until then, classes at the Tiber Campus are suspended. It's the perfect moment to come to the Library and find shelter from the rain!
You can catch up with homework, reading reserved books, or browsing the shelves in search for inspiration. Or you can just stop by and try to find your favorite spot.
The Library Staff is happy to welcome you all!
