With the start of the new semester, the loan policy for laptops has changed.
- The loan now lasts for 5 hours and is of course renewable throughout the day. Between 15 and 20 minutes before the loan expires, an automated reminder e-mail will be sent. Please remember to check your JCU inbox regularly.
- Laptops can now be taken anywhere within the Guarini campus and are no longer bound to the library premises;
- Same-day late returns now carry a non-accruing, fixed €3.00 fine;
- Unauthorized overnight check-outs carry a €25.00 fine;
- The replacement fee for lost laptops is €400.
All loan policies, including these, are also laid out on the back of our new Borrowing Services bookmarks, which you can pick up at the Welcome Desk and in various other spots around the Frohring Library. Of course you can always ask the Welcome Desk staff should you need any further info or help.
