It's almost exams time...
As we begin the final weeks of the term, we would like you to know a few things.
Library Opening Hours
Starting form Sunday, December 1st, we will be open longer with our traditional 12 Nights in the Library.
Don't Be a Space Hog
Please, be considerate and think about your fellow students who are looking for somewhere to sit. If you’re leaving the library for any length of time please take your things and free up the space.
We hope the weather will assist us (please, no more rain!) so the seats in the courtyard can be used, but remember that if there are no seats available we allow reserve books to be checked out of the library, as long as you return them on time.
Stay Hydrated
Be sure to stay hydrated, drink lots of water and have a tea or coffee while you study. The drinking fountain is right next to the entrance of the library and the vending machine for tea and coffee is in the near Student Lounge.
Please, remember that we do allow drinks in the library but we are more restrictive with food. Snacks are allowed, but you cannot eat meals, so no pizza, salad, pasta, sandwiches, or anything that is too greasy or too smelly. Other students might not appreciate studying in a place that smells like a cafeteria!
When leaving the library, be considerate and clean after you. We have recycling bins all around the campus.
Exams Support
The reference librarians are here to help you with the final steps of your research. Do you need to find sources for your paper? Do you need assistance with citations? Schedule an appointment and get the help you need! If no reference librarian is available, all library staff is here to provide support.
