UNESCO and members of the UNESCO Media and Information Literacy Alliance promote Global Media and Information Literacy Week.
The theme is "Nurturing trust: A Media and Information Literacy Imperative" and is hosted by Nigeria.

The Frohring Library will host a panel discussion about
Freedom of Information and Climate Disinformation. Professors Silvia Scarpa and Antonio Lopez will discuss current issues about disinformation and freedom of information in the context of climate change. The panel will take place in the Upper Reading Room on October 26 at 6pm.
